I have access to The Dutchess, I'll watch it soon (once I get through this next documentary I'm listening to while painting). I've seen the last fifteen minutes of it, it's very dry but seems compelling enough. I wish Keira Knightly would eat a sandwich and stop holding her face tight as a drum in every scene.

A friend actually recommended In Bruges, is it the kind of "hipsters will think it's really smart" movie I prejudice it to be?

I expected Frost/Nixon to be bad, considering how totally off the casting is and how the dialogue is fudged so often. I'll have to see it now.

The hipster thing isn't a bad theory, but I just thought "In Bruges" was a total bore. And it was such a disappointment because I loved the actual city of Bruges so freakin' much.
